Locking Mechanisms

Retailers have the option of selecting between a 5k Gauss (standard) magnetic locking mechanism or a higher strength 9k Gauss (ultra strength) magnetic locking mechanism. The locking devices are interchangeable allowing retailers to easily upgrade to the higher strength lock without replacing their entire safer stock.

Blister Hooks

Blister hooks offer retailers added merchandising flexibility by allowing safers to hang on pegged displays. The hooks easily attach to the safer on the side opposite the locking mechanism. Not all safers are compatible with blister hooks. Below is a list of compatible safers and hooks.

Detachers

Sensormatic safers are backwards compatible with our current magnetic decouplers. Safers are easily integrated into stores that utilize our e-Tag or Ultra•Tag^® detachers. Retailers have the option of selecting between a 5k Gauss (standard) magnetic locking mechanism compatible with the MKD31-BL (e-Tag detacher) or a higher strength 9k Gauss (ultra strength) magnetic locking mechanism compatible with our MKD400-BL (Ultra•Tag detacher).
