Product Description:
This class will introduce installation technicians who are new to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) to the theories and concepts necessary to install, configure, test, and tune our complete Acousto-Magnetic product line.

Course Description / Topics:
This course combines extensive oscilloscope operations (including the observation and interrogation of waveforms) with installation and service training on Sensormatic’s UltraMax 1.6 Standalone, ProMax I, ProMax II, UltraPost, and Digital 216 and AMS 9040 EAS Systems. Our newest AMS 9050 UltraExit System and People Counting options are also presented. Students are given hands-on experience installing our Loop Antenna Systems, including the AMS 3000, 3003, 3004, and 3010. Deactivators and Detachers will also be discussed, including the new AMB Biplanar Scanner/Deactivators. Finally, students will learn how to use the Phasing Tool and B-field Meter to troubleshoot problems with these systems.

Course Description / Topics:
Students will learn the basics of Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) as well as how to install and configure our UltraPost, DoorLoop, and Digital ProMax Detection Systems and our Biplanar Scanner/Deactivators and Value Deactivators. They will also learn how to phase these systems with an oscilloscope and our proprietary phasing tool. Finally, they will learn how to install and configure our SmartEAS UltraLink and People Counting products.
