Registering
for a Course
Tyco Safety Products-Sensormatic
Technical Training Classes are provided for Tyco Safety Products-Sensormatic
Employees, Authorized Dealers, and our valued customers. We don’t
allow “walk-ins” to attend, and every attendee must
be registered and confirmed by Tyco Safety Products-Sensormatic
Technical Training Services. “End-users” of Sensormatic
products may attend certain classes, but cannot participate in certification
programs. In addition, they may be charged tuition of $350 per day
to attend a course; please contact the Technical Training Services
manager at (561) 912-6078 for more information.
While we prefer to handle registrations
electronically through this web site, we will work with those who
prefer another method. For information, please call Tyco Safety
Products-Sensormatic Technical Training Services at (561) 912-6078.
Canceling a Course
Students must cancel their training enrollment
at least 5 business days prior to the scheduled course start date.
To cancel an enrollment, dial (561) 912-6078 and speak with the
Training Manager. Please note that Cancellations received fewer
than five business days before the start date incur a charge of
$500, if we cannot fill the seat. Authorized Dealers are encouraged
to substitute attendees whenever possible to avoid this charge.
Tyco Safety Products-Sensormatic Technical
Training Services reserves the right to cancel any scheduled class.
We do this only when there are not enough registrations to hold
the class. If this happens, we will notify you approximately four
weeks before the scheduled start date. Because of this, we suggest
that you do not purchase non-refundable airline tickets until your
registration and the class is confirmed (see “Confirmations,”
below). If a class is cancelled, we will, at the student’s
choice, refund the student’s tuition or transfer the enrollment
to another class. Sensormatic accepts no further responsibility
for canceling a class that has not been confirmed.
Confirmations
We’ll confirm your registration and
class attendance approximately four weeks prior to the start of
the class. This allows you enough lead-time to make cost-effective
travel and lodging arrangements. Once we have issued you a written
confirmation, we will make every effort to hold that course.
Attending a Course
We encourage instructors and students alike
to dress in a comfortable and appropriate manner. Unless local custom
dictates otherwise, the following guidelines are to be observed
for all Tyco Safety Products-Sensormatic Technical Training activities.
“Business casual” attire is appropriate for all classes;
Shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, or sandals are not appropriate attire.
Students are asked not to interrupt class
sessions to make or receive phone calls, except in emergency situations.
If you bring a pager or cellular phone, please make sure that it
is turned "off" while class is in session.
Successful completion of a course requires
attending the full course, and we don’t give “partial
credit.” If a student fails to attend all or part of a class,
the full tuition is still charged.
