The safety and well being of Tyco Safety Products-Sensormatic employees, and our guests during training events is to be ensured at all times. The following common-sense guidelines shall be followed at all training events.
- At the beginning of any Training Event, the instructor shall identify for the students at least two exits to be used in the event of a fire or emergency evacuation, and the location at which to meet for a headcount.
- At the beginning of any Training Event, the instructor shall identify for the students the locations of the two nearest Fire Extinguishers and the two nearest Manual Pull Stations (Fire Alarm).
- Exits shall not be blocked or restricted by the storage of equipment, furniture, or other materials.
- Electrical cords, cables, and the like shall be routed and secured in such a manner as to minimize the possibility of tripping and shock hazard.
- Electrical cords, distribution strips, cabling, and the like shall be in good repair, and properly grounded. Damaged items shall be removed from service immediately.
- Smoking shall not be permitted in or about any Tyco Safety Products-Sensormatic Training Activity, except as allowed in designated smoking areas.
- All accidents and injuries shall be reported to the Training Manager.
For Permanent Tyco Safety Products-Sensormatic Training Facilities
- Valid company ID badges shall be displayed at all times within a Tyco Safety Products-Sensormatic Facility. This applies to both Tyco Safety Products-Sensormatic Employees and Visitors.
- Exits shall be clearly marked with signage that meets the standards of the local Authority Having Jurisdiction.
- At least one fully stocked First Aid Kit shall be maintained in each Training Room.
- At least one Fire Extinguisher shall be maintained in each Training Room.
- A copy of this Policy shall be permanently displayed in each Training Room.
