Tyco Retail Solutions provides retailers with state-of-the-art 3D sensors for people counting and tracking.

The PC2 from Xovis uses highly-robust 3D stereo vision technology that withstands various external influences including shadows, light changes, heat emissions, etc. All the 3D image processing is performed within the sensor itself, no need for additional servers. The viewing angle allows a single sensor to cover wide passages and large areas.

With the simple XML-based interface, this sensor can be quickly integrated into existing systems and conveniently configured and read via the web interface.

The PC2 comes with a plug-in to Tyco’s TrueVUETM Enterprise Manager, which provides retailers with an overview of connected traffic hardware across the enterprise. From one centralized location, managers can drill down into a single store to review health and event logs of individual devices. This allows retailers to easily locate any device that may be offline or experiencing connectivity issues.
