SOLIHULL, UK, Apr. 15, 2026 – Sensormatic Solutions, the leading global retail solutions portfolio of Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI), will be on-site at the Retail Technology Show to give attendees a first look at its solutions reimagining retail. The longtime leader in retail analytics and technology - which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year - will demonstrate the latest advancements to its loss prevention, traffic insights and inventory intelligence portfolio on Stand G60 from 22–23 April 2026.

Sensormatic Flexible Loss-prevention & Engagement Experience System (FLEX)

New storefront engagement platform combines visual merchandising, retail media network and latest loss prevention technologies which can help redefine the storefront experience. Sensormatic FLEX can enable a store-as-a-media-business model, meeting growing demand for solutions that support retail media network (RMN) success. The modular design strategy helps offer digital advertising, marketing, store design and merchandising teams ample opportunity to create dynamic storefront displays that align with brand aesthetics and customer expectations, while optional AM, RF and Gen2X RFID capabilities, as well as alarm options, help ensure LP teams still have what they need to help deter crime. This flexible, fully customizable approach can help retailers:

  • Increase foot traffic and sales. Sensormatic FLEX is designed to help improve retail operations and enhance front-of-store displays, entice passersby and help retailers draw in more visitors to drive conversion and profitability by improving customer engagement and on-shelf availability while minimizing shrink.
  • Maintain brand experiences. The modular, customizable design of Sensormatic FLEX can help empower floor designers with more control over the direction of stores’ look and feel.
  • Adjust to trends. Sensormatic FLEX is designed to empower teams pivot campaigns when circumstances change, while optional RFID capabilities help track merchandise and shrink trends in motion, helping to ensure messaging is always relevant and engaging.
  • Improve RMN performance. Flexible, high-quality displays in Sensormatic FLEX systems can help retailers and partners to take advantage of high-demand storefront space to capture shopper attention and open new revenue streams for retailers.

Shrink Analyzer

The first-of-its-kind, cloud-based Shrink Analyzer application is showcasing four new machine learning (ML) features: Track and Trace, At-Risk Merchandise Forecast, Organised Retail Crime (ORC) Activity Predictions, and Chat Bot. The latest ML enhancements can help unify operational data to bring more precise, data-driven total retail loss tactics within retailers’ reach.

The new ML tools in Shrink Analyzer are designed to work together to help provide the ‘what, when and where’ of total retail loss:

  • Track and Trace: The application layers ML technology on top of item-level merchandise data, point-of-origin sources, point-of-sale logs, electronic product code (EPC) records and beyond-the-store environmental insights to support proactive investigations, help accelerate stolen-item identification in authorised resales, and assist with compiling complete evidence packages.
  • At-Risk Merchandise Forecast: The investigator dashboard can show the top items at risk, estimated shrink value, and which categories are at higher risk. The feature also can provide shrink history as well as a weekly trend analysis.
  • ORC Activity Predictions: The tool is designed to predict “when” organised theft events may be planned, including the time slots with the highest chances that ORC may happen, leveraging trends across sites, regions and territories.
  • Chat Bot: Enabling access to 24/7, contextualised analysis to the Shrink Analyzer platform, using generative technology, ML, and operational data to answer questions, provide recommendations, and help users better understand their businesses. Retailers can select pre-written questions or ask their own, helping to uncover patterns, investigate anomalies, and identify new opportunities for improvement.

Orbit AI Sensors and Video AI Cameras

Store Guest Behaviours powered by AI harnesses Re-Identification (Re-ID) technology within Orbit AI overhead people counters and Video AI cameras, providing retailers access to actionable insights through ShopperTrak Analytics, enabling swift decision-making and boosting in-store sales activity.

Orbit AI sensors and Video AI Cameras are designed to exclude staff and non-shopper traffic from count (without using personal identifiable information), delivering precise metrics that retailers can trust to help them make strategic decisions. Backed by this data, Sensormatic Solutions Store Guest Behaviours Analytics can empower retailers with the insights to:

  • Drive higher conversion by understanding shopper journeys. Path-to-purchase analytics can reveal how shoppers move through the store, helping retailers optimise layouts and merchandising to boost in-store sales.
  • Boost merchandising impact with real-time layout insights. Zone preference and dwell time data reveal which displays attract attention and convert, enabling retailers to optimise product placement.
  • Improve operational efficiency with smarter staffing. Real-time traffic trends and peak shopping times inform labour allocation, helping ensure the right coverage at the right time to drive efficiency and improve shopper experiences.

Sensormatic Retail On Services enabled by CSL

Sensormatic Solutions will also highlight its new, comprehensive Sensormatic Retail On Services offering. Delivered in collaboration with CSL Group, a leader in secure managed connectivity, Sensormatic Retail On Services combines resilient network infrastructure with Sensormatic Solutions end-to-end retail expertise, global scale and local support. This innovative solution provides a discreet radio frequency identification (RFID) tagging alternative for clothing, apparel and accessories, helping to enable brands and retailers gain insights without compromising a garment’s look and feel. Seam Tags can be sewn directly into garments without affecting fit, functionality or brand presentation. By embedding RFID technology seamlessly into the garments, this approach can extend the value of RFID investments, helping brands authenticate products, deter theft and reduce friction across the retail journey — ultimately helping to enable a more seamless experience for both retailers and shoppers.
