Ciao Milano! ShopperTrak heads to MAPIC Italy

Now in its fourth year, MAPIC Italy promises two days of insight and inspiration, with a focus on retail growth opportunities in Italy.

ShopperTrak will be participating in the Milan event (8th and 9th May) with our team located in the ‘Digital Lounge’. We’re delighted to be attending the show as we have so much value to add in Italian retail real estate development, and performance-boosting strategy for retailers.

All eyes on Italian opportunities

Much of the conference content explores the importance of data insight and the power of understanding the needs of the modern consumer in 2019, when planning everything from tenant mix to seasonal marketing campaigns.

This is where ShopperTrak can share deep knowledge and ideas on how to move forward with data-led strategies based on traffic counting and traffic data analytics.

Tech solutions showcasing

“We strongly believe in developing close business relationships, and meeting with our peers at trade fairs, particularly one of such national importance,” says Michela Cimmino, Digital Development Representative at ShopperTrak Italy.

Our aim will be to present ShopperTrak solutions for our prospects, but also to spend time showcasing solutions to existing customers who may not be aware of the full scope of what ShopperTrak can help them achieve. For instance, our Market Intelligence tool can provide powerful insights for both shopping centers and retailers.”

Real estate decision-making

The ShopperTrak team will be showing delegates at MAPIC Italy how the Market Intelligence tool can give a detailed view of footfall performance by country, region and city, supporting critical real estate decisions for expansion or contraction.

For instance, the tool gives store estate managers, real estate managers and portfolio managers insight into locations where they currently may not have a presence. And where they do have a presence, Market Intelligence can offer additional evidence to support expansion or contraction plans, taking guesswork out of the equation.

Consultancy adds value to data

The new Market Intelligence index is an integral part of the ShopperTrak solution suite for retailers and shopping centres. The data and insights come to life in the web-based reporting portal – ShopperTrak Analytics – a one-stop shop for all retail store and shopping centre traffic data needs.

“Consultancy is key,” says Michela. “Our objective is to give context to the data, to help apply it to individual businesses in line with unique challenges, and to integrate it with their other business metrics.”

At ShopperTrak we typically work closely with retailers and property owners to support projects for labour optimisation, customer experience, estate optimisation, and a range of other business areas where performance improvement can be achieved over time. “And at MAPIC Italy,” says Michela, “we are keen to talk about how our far-reaching Market Intelligence and Analytics tools can help retail businesses in Italy prosper and grow in the years ahead.”
